Short, because there is nothing to disclose.

What Drape collects

Nothing. Drape has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry and no network access of any kind. It does not know you exist.

Your screen

To fold your desktop, Drape has to read it: that is why macOS asks for Screen Recording permission. The captured frames go straight to the graphics processor and are drawn back as the fold. They are never written to disk, never kept beyond the frame being shown, and never leave your Mac. Capture only runs while the lid is within a few degrees of the fold; the rest of the time nothing is captured at all — the system's recording indicator in the menu bar shows exactly when it is.

What is stored on your Mac

Your settings — style, sliders, start angle — in the app's own preferences. Delete the app and they go with it.

Third parties

None. Buying happens on the Mac App Store, under Apple's privacy policy; this site never sees a payment. The app talks to no one.

Changes and contact

If any of this ever changes, this page changes first and the app version that does something new says so. Questions: hello@usedrape.com.
